New Tanks For the DPROC's 1:72 army

Recently a series of new AFVs have been designed, via PowerPoint to be printed out in nets and constructed.
This here is the first of the series: the CVM MK D37/105(CVM is Child Vehicle Manufacturer).
Later models include the:

  • CVM MK E37
  • CVM MK F1-37
  • CVM MK F2-37
  • CVM MK G LIGHT AMPHIBIOUS TANK
  • CVM MK H37
  • CVM MK I65
  • CVM MK J92
I am afraid I cannot show any of these later designs because they are currently classified until construction and evaluation.
If you wish to purchase or license-build any of the CVM MK D to F1 model tanks please comment on this post and we shall arrange this for you.

Ailheive Expedition Postponed

It is, with great regret, that the Ailheive expedition, originally planned for Child Day, has been postponed to this weekend. It is unfortunate but we feel that it is necessary for the wellbeing of our nation. However, any readers in the Hawkes Bay area are most welcome to come along at 1530 hours this Saturday. Those who do so will be awarded the medal of the Ailheive expedition, and a chance at a commission in our military. We hope to see some there.

One year of the DPROC

One year ago today I, in combination with Jakob Morris and Nate Simes, seceded from the New Zealand government. Today, therefor, is Child Day, and the founders medal will no longer be available to be earned.

The RCAF Exploration of the park mountain range

On Tuesday the 3rd of April at 1348 hours, a single drone took off on a mission to land on each of the 3 mountains of the local park's mountain range.

After suffering several mechanical failures, the drone finally got airborne and flew all the way to the first hill and landed on top just as its engine failed. Stage 1 complete, and after multiple failed attempts, the drone fired up again.
After a shaky flight, it semi-successfully landed on the side of the next mountain, creating huge clouds of dust as it did so.
Stage 2 complete, the final stage was to land on the last, and smallest mountain. It should have been easy, but then the wind caught it and I was forced to ditch it in the playground to avoid it being lost, broken or both.
It broke down for good in an attempt to start it up again, therefore ending the sortie. Fortunately it was fixed and is flying well now.
1. Lands successfully on first mountain.
2. Lands on second mountain.
3. Misses third mountain and ditches in playground.

Presidential Elections

Presidential Elections will be coming up in June. For any citizens interested in running please comment on this post.

Plans for the expedition of Ailheive

There is a system of tunnels under Taradale near the DPROC. The largest of these is Ailheive, our capital, but beyond the main room lies a further sytem of tunnels, which are the least explored in the system, mainly because of its size and all the eels that lurk deep in its gut.
However, the Child SS and the RCA, joined by RCAF pilots, will explore as much of Ailheive as possible. It shall also be mapped and documented during our exploits. Film will be taken so we can show our discoveries to the micronational world.
Results of the expedition will be posted on this blog.

Night Training Exercise

On the night of the 18th of April, members of the Child SS were involved in a training exercise on night espionage. It was fantastic to see them improving as the night wore on, and as always, the Air Chief Marshal did not disappoint, evading capture for far longer than anyone imagined. Overall, I believe that they are ready to move onto advanced training and from there into being fully fledged members of the most prestigious of our services.

An introduction from the High Priest

Greetings,
I am High Priest Thomas Mooney the 1st of the Democratic People's Republic of The Child, and it is my honor to greet you to the official blog of our military. As high priest I have emergency powers over the military, and military leaders have to check with me before doing anything out of the ordinary. It is an honor to lead this ever-growing micronation and hope to see it expand further. Remember, if you wish to apply for citizenship, there will be application forms coming later on this blog.

AN INTRODUCTION FROM COMMANDER IN CHIEF OF THE RCDF: JAKOB MORRIS

Greetings!
My name is Jakob Morris and I am responsible for the protection and security of the DPROC and it's citizens. I am also in command of the DPROC's impressive army of 639 active wargaming troops and 14 soldiers.
We have fought a war against the Child Opposers in 2017 which was the crowning glory of our fledging air force(RCAF)which destroyed over 15 enemy aircraft for the loss of 7.
The DPROC is forever expanding and I am proud to play a role in this great nation.
